At CoreAxis, we build tools that empower developers. We believe your code, workflows, credentials, and search queries belong exclusively to you. CoreAxis is designed from the ground up as a native desktop application prioritizing local execution and strict privacy boundaries.
This policy outlines how we treat data. Because CoreAxis is a local-first application, the short answer is: we do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data or codebase contents.
All workspaces, configuration, project history, and clipboard records are stored strictly on your local disk.
Credentials, tokens, and third-party API keys are encrypted and stored via native system vault services.
No telemetry tracking, usage analytics, or remote logging. We do not track how you use the app.
API keys connect directly from your machine to your chosen AI model provider. We never proxy your requests.
CoreAxis operates directly on your local file system. We do not have servers that ingest or process your source code. Code analysis, workspaces matching, and local search occur entirely within your local hardware sandbox.
Our integrated Clipboard Hub monitors your copy buffer locally when the app is active. The records are saved inside an offline cache file in your App Support folder. This cache is never synced to the cloud, nor is it exposed to third-party endpoints. You can clear your history or pause the clipboard monitor at any time.
When utilizing AI models:
We do not share any data with third parties simply because we do not collect it. If you submit a support request or bug report via email or GitHub, we will only use that contact information to help resolve your inquiry.
Because your data remains fully on your machine, you have complete control. You can delete the CoreAxis local configuration folder on your machine and all cached data will be instantly and permanently removed.
